Apple Watch Ultra 2 has a water resistance rating of 100 meters under ISO standard 22810 and may be used for high-speed water sports and recreational scuba diving (with compatible third-party app from the App Store) to 40 meters. Should not be used for diving below 40m. Water resistance is not a permanent condition and can diminish over time.

I know from Apple's website that 45mm bands "work" on earlier 44mm models, but my question is whether they fit perfectly right, or that extra mm translates into the band slightly overflowing the case on both sides of the attachment. For instance, old 38/42mm straps looked awfully weird on newer 40/44mm watches.

Now of course the 44mm paper cutout looks giant to me but I'm going with the gut that the actual watch will still be reasonable on my wrist, but of course I could always return it and get the 40. Since I ordered my wife the 40 (she currently wears the 38) I'll be able to do a side by side comparison in my home.
Sep 12, 2018 · Yes I understand that, but if I were you *I am one of those always pre-order when its live and want the newest stuff from apple* and not sure what I want, i'd wait, I did this with the 1st apple watch (size and version), airpods and iphone 6 (size difference), so I waited once they were out and visited the apple store and made up my mind.

It’s worth noting that the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, which offers enhanced features, is slightly thicker than the standard Galaxy Watch 5 models.
Sep 12, 2018 · The 44 doesn’t look as bad as you think it would and I personally found the 44 looked more pebble like on my wrist. I’m still going with a 40 as I feel the 44 would bump against surface more easily but I absolutely hate that apples strap offers on the 40 are worse. N.
